Secondary Success

January 12, 2018

Stage of Development: Some in the fingerling stage, some still in fry stage.

Oddly enough, this year's population of trout in our tank are growing at different rates. Also, the larger ones hang out towards the left of the tank, while the smaller tend to mingle in the right. No reasoning has been discovered as of now.

Summary:   Today the trout underwent a water change, in attempt to calm the nitrite levels within the tank. The management crew is doing their best to correct the current nitrogen cycle within the tank.

Two fish were lost, leaving the tank with a population of 160.

Temp: 11 degrees Celcius

pH: unacceptable range
